Donuts No Yeast No Egg | Doughnuts Recipe

Donuts (डोनट्स ) also known as doughnuts are a fluffy, crispy, popular and easy to make dessert recipe with some glazes and toppings. This is a no yeast no egg donuts recipe. These doughnuts are prepared with all purpose flour, milk, curd, sugar, butter and leavening agents like baking powder, baking soda and vinegar. You can make them easily at home. They are melt in mouth in texture and very soft and fluffy from inside.

To make donuts, leavening agents like baking soda, baking powder and vinegar are used in place of yeast. If you don’t have yeast at your home and want to make donuts for guests so not to worry. Try this easy donuts recipe. Donuts dough needs to rise and this will come out perfect. Milk and curd are used to replace eggs.

Make some dark chocolate and white chocolate glaze and dip the donuts into glaze. Top with some sprinklers or chopped nuts. You may dust some icing sugar. This recipe is easy to make and produces a very indulgent little treat!

Ingredients:

2 cup all purpose flour
½ cup milk
1 tsp. vinegar
¼ cup sugar powder
½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
A small pinch salt
¼ cup butter
1 tbsp. curd

Instructions:

Mix 1 tsp. vinegar in milk and keep aside. Milk should be at room temperature.


Take flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, curd and vinegar milk mixture. 


Knead to combine all ingredients. Add butter and knead again to make a soft and non-sticky dough. 
Cover with a lid and leave for 1 hour.


After 1 hour knead for some seconds and pinch some dough. Make a ball and roll using some dry flour. Don’t roll too thin or too thick.
Cut to make donuts using donut cutter or some lid. 


Fry them in hot oil on low flame till they become golden brown from both sides. 


Keep stirring while frying otherwise they will remain uncooked from inside.
Make chocolate glaze by mixing cream, cocoa powder and sugar. Dip doughnuts in glaze and top with sprinklers and almond slices. 


You may dust icing sugar on them. You may try strawberry and vanilla frosting and enjoy!


Tips:

  • Milk should not be hot. After mixing vinegar, leave it at least for 5 minutes. 
  • Leave the dough for at least 1 hour.
  • Fry them on low flame to cook completely otherwise they will remain uncooked from inside. 
  • You may use oil in place of butter.
